I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 11 people at Hello Sunshine for a week in June. The house is beautiful, was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The kitchen was spacious and allowed room for multiple cooks in the kitchen. The porches gave everyone a space to unwind! The neighborhood pool was clean and right next to the home. It was rarely used so it was like having a private pool. I believe the porches and outside stairs will soon need replacing as they gave a few of use splinters and seemed very worn! I would not recommend this home if you are traveling with elderly family members as the stairs to enter the home are quite steep. Also, the lower suite is not accessible from inside the house making it a little awkward to get the most use from this cool space. But overall a beautiful home in lovely community with plenty of beach!

Our destinated house was no longer available due to water damage so we found this literally two days before we arrived! The top master suite bed sheets had not been changed, attention to cleanliness was missing. Living room furniture needs to be replaced as it is dirty & the main couch is almost impossible to sit on comfortably. The kitchen is amazing but the dining room chairs are horrible... not comfortable and every move you make “sounds” horrible!Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The views of the sunset amazing; the porches excellent! Beach nessesities plentiful! Distance to beach perfect; neighborhood lovely! Appliances very nice. Main bathroom lighting is dark. We had to buy better bulbs. Bunkbed sheets a nightmare to change!

Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately we came daown as Idalia was developing from a small tropical storm into the hurricane it became so we were evacuated after 1 1/2 days. The place was beautiful though and we would definitely rent it again. (I don’t want to skew the owner’s results or quality of the place for less than all 5 stars, they had no control over what happened). Cheers!

It is right next to the community pool (which felt like our private pool) - but we didn’t use the pool a lot, as the boardwalk provided a quick path to a beautiful section of beach. We prefer beach-front, but this is definitely the next best thing at a much better weekly rate. The garage is full of beach toys and essentials that we were thankful to use (umbrellas, floats, wagons, shovels, even kayaks!) The property was well stocked for when we cooked, and almost right across the street from Skully’s for the best food when we didn’t want to cook. It was a gorgeous property and everyone had their own space at the end of the day. My teen son loved the separate “apartment” downstairs and had everything he could need there. We would return in a heartbeat!

Summary: This was the best experience we have had in more than ten years. Clean, spacious. Great view. We called about a few issues (leftover from previous rentals) and they took care of them promptly. This is a great alternative to the crowds in the destin area. Rules seemed strict at first because they are trying to protect their investment. No problems with any interaction.
